PROBLEM Billing / Accounts
HEADLINE Account suspended for no acceptable reason
THE INCIDENT

I pay by debit order every month. In december i was informed i would be migrated to their new prepaid wireless division where i would receive more bandwidth for my money. On the 31-12 my monthly amount was debited as per normal. On the 01-02 my account was suspended for being in arrears, even though there was more than enough money for the 31-01 debit to go off. All my efforts to send mail to them via their site (which is all i can access once i have been suspended) led to the message 'the iburst system has suffered a breakdown and cannot complete your request'
On calling, i am disconnected from their switchboard as soon as i select an option (any option). I assume from large number of calls from disgruntled clients whose accounts have been suspended for no good reason. I can only assume that in the 'migration' which i didn't request, they lost the debit order details or method of payment.
I have had numerous technical complaints, of which only one has been resolved.
I have never had such bad service or product from anybody including telkom.
